Spritual awareness through Doodle Art

Welcome to stress-free living
---by Carol Edmonston, a website filled with inspiration about becoming the artist of your own life as you journey through this amazing adventure called life. Carol shares valuable insights into the health and financial benefits of stress reduction using doodling as a healing tool.

"Your "Sacred Doodles" are profound renderings of the whimsy and the wit of the creative unconscious. Drawing, as they do on the kinesthetic sense, which itself is attached to the subtle muscular knowings of our liminal life, you have brought forth something that has huge appeal." ... Dr. Jean Houston, Scholar & Philosopher

As part of Neurofibromatosis (NF) Awareness month, celebrity doodles are available for auction on eBay from May 10th - 20th, 2012.

These doodles have a very important aim: the funds they raise will benefit NF, Inc. Network, an organization dedicated to providing support to individuals and families affected by neurofibromatosis (NF).

Neurofibromatosis is a genetic disorder that affects one in every 2,500 births. NF is more common than Cystic Fibrosis, Muscular Dystrophy and Huntington's Disease combined. Funds raised from the Doodle Day auction will go to support education, advocacy, coalitions, and research for treatments and a cure.

Life is an amazing adventure!  As we journey through its twists and turns, we can choose to embrace the challenges of everyday life and strive to discover the gifts, or to cover our heads and pretend that everything will be fine in the morning.  We can learn to trust fear and discover the essence of faith, or to remain in the background, forever wondering what life is all about and how we are to serve.

Let’s face it – stress isn’t going away! Whether our challenges are great or small, they can serve as a springboard for growth, expansion and transformation.  The first step in the journey is to breathe in. The second step is to breathe out. The rest will unfold as it should. I have journeyed through breast cancer not once, but twice, and discovered the greatest gift of all:  Life gives me no more challenges than I have the ability to handle.

Join me on this journey. SacredDoodles.com is an adventure for everyone, children as well as adults.  Exploring this website is your opportunity to learn how to deal with stress reduction in a unique and fun way, whether you’re waiting for a doctor appointment, business meeting or nervous about an upcoming test or job interview. Find out about professional speaking engagements, workshops and books and read some interesting articles. Learn how to integrate few simple guiding principles into your everyday life with the stroke of a pen and the heart of a warrior.
